Inter Milan failed to win, Spalletti remains satisfied
Inter Milan coach, Luciano Spalletti, remain satisfied even though his team only drew 1-1 when hosted Bologna in the fifth week of Serie A match at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, Tuesday (19/09/2017).
These results make Inter Milan victory record stalled. In the game, La Beneamata almost defeated, before the equalizer through the execution of Mauro Icardi’s penalty kick.
Spalletti was disappointed with the result because his squad did not show the best game. However, the 58-year-old coach praised the performance of Inter Milan’s players in the second half.
“We are slower than usual and failed to deliver the ball forward, especially from the midfield, which made Bologna close our line of attack,” Spalletti told Mediaset Premium.
“We played better in the second half, but, when moving the ball too slow against organized teams, you make them feel more comfortable.”
“Bologna kept pressuring us We were a team with a lower intensity of attack but managed to rise in the second half You can see, after the equalizer, the players tried to control the ball We did not always play well but made a great effort in the second half, “said Spalletti.
A draw against Bologna enough to make Inter Milan topped the Serie A standings with a collection of 13 points. I Nerazzurri outperformed Napoli and Juventus who played one game less by a point difference.
